G.E. is having a "Good Time" country line dancing to Alan Jackson's hit song!

Country Line Dancing is hotter than ever once again in the Capital Region.  All you have to do is visit Vapor on Bud Light Country Night to understand that hundreds of people still enjoy line dancing to Country Music.  Check out this new commercial from G.E., then come join us and give it a try.  It might be a little harder than screwing in a light bulb, but if you give yourself a chance you'll be on the hardwood in no time!

As many of you know, I am the only one left in the area still teaching line dancing to Country Music, exclusively, and hosting "All Country Music" line dance nights.  During the peak of country line dancing in the mid 90s, there were several "All Country Music" events, but today the few remaining clubs and instructors that are still going have opted for other styles of music for the majority of their line dance play list.  I like pop and rock music too, but I am working hard so that people who like Country Music still have a place to go and enjoy line dancing to their favorite songs.

Now, I've also had lots of people ask me where they can learn how to line dance to Country Music.  So, you'll be happy know that in addition to Bud Light Country Night at Vapor, we are starting a brand new basic beginner line dance night on Wednesday, February 16, 6:30 at the Shenendehowa Community Center, in the Clifton Commons, Clifton Park.  For a complete schedule of "All Country Music" Line Dance Nights in the area, visit www.kevinrichards.com.
