Blake Shelton arrived on the scene in 2001 with a five week No. 1 debut called ‘Austin.’ After being persuaded to pursue music by Mae Boren Axton, the writer of ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ and the mother of Hoyt Axton, Blake moved to Nashville. Mae even supported the young singer by hiring him to do odd jobs around her house while helping him make connections in the music business.  Blake presented a steady stream of hits in the first decade of the 2000s.  However, after recruiting Narvel Blackstock, the husband of Reba McEntire, at Starstuck Entertainment to manage his career, Blake Shelton’s star is shining brighter than ever!

Now, thanks to the publicity of his relationship with Miranda Lambert, a spot on NBC’s “The Voice," a very unique personality, and a long string of power hits, Blake Shelton is a superstar.  Now, Blake is filling the dance floor with his most recent No. 1 hit, ‘Honeybee.’  Enjoy learning the steps to this future line dance classic, and we hope to see you doing it at our next  WGNA Country Dance Night!
