Fire In Cohoes Destroyed A Two Family Home Thankfully Everyone Is Safe

On Saturday afternoon, May 4, 2013, firefighters were called to a house fire at 90 – 92 Manor Avenue in Cohoes.

In a story from the Times Union, a couple of the people that lived in the house were alerted by some neighbors that knocked on the door of the burning structure, and got out safely. There was one woman that was trapped on the second floor. She escaped by crawling through a window that lead to the roof. After bwing rescued from the roof, she was taken to an Albany area hospital and was treated for some minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
