Flames Scorch Watervliet Apartment Complex [UPDATED]

Two buildings in The Fenimore Trace Apartment complex, in Watervliet, were on fire Friday morning. It was about 3:30 a.m. when the call about the fire came in.

In the story from News 10 ABC, it started in building 12 and then spread to building 11. First responders also evacuated building 10. Twenty one units were damaged in the fire.

News 10 reported that one woman was treated for burn wounds and three adults and a baby were treated for smoke inhalation. A total of 24 people were displaced by the fire.

This is the second Albany-area  fire, specifically in the Latham – Watervliet area within a couple of months. The last fire was at The Valley View Apartments, back in August 2013.
