Fair Season Means Lots Of Great Country Music Entertainment [VIDEOS]

It's close to that time of year when the county fairs start coming into town. I always enjoy the fairs for some great rides, games and all the great fair food. But what I think I enjoy the most is the great country  music you can enjoy whether it be local or national acts.

The Saratoga County Fair runs from July17-22. You can catch some great local talent including Skeeter Creek on the 18th and CountryFest Street Party Performers The Lost Cantina Band and Chelsea Cavanaugh on the 19th. The 19th also happens to be GNA Day at the Fair. Don't forget that the Fairgrounds are also home to the GNA Summer Picnic with Chris Cagle.

August brings us the Altamont Fair which runs the 14-19th. Skeeter Creek will also be performing at this fair. They will perform on the last day of the fair on the 19th.

Up Next is the Dutchess County Fair In Rhinebeck running from August 21-26th. Rhinebeck is a bit of a trek from Albany but it is worth it to catch Justin Moore performing on the 21st and Lonestar on the 23rd.

The Columbia County Fair In Chatam runs from August 29th-September 3rd. Here you can catch two more great national acts. Former American Idol star Bucky Covington will perform on the 31st and the band with some of the best harmonies in the business Diamond Rio will play on Sept. 2nd.

Finally we have the Schaghticoke Fair that also runs August 29th-September 3rd. CountryFest Block Party star Chelsea Cavanaugh will perform on the 29th. Skeeter Creek will be there on the 3rd as will the great duo from the 80's, The Sweethearts Of The Rodeo.
