Dierks Bentley is No. 1 this week on Billboard’s Country Albums chart.  That's, of course, with his sixth studio album Home.  This marks Dierks'  fourth career debut at No. 1.  Meanwhile, the single ‘Home’ also continues to climb the Top 5.  Here’s what Dierks had to say about this album:

Dierks also performed ‘Home’ on The ‘Ellen’ Show yesterday as well as gave $50,000 to a struggling military family.  This particular family has been paying bills by selling items their personal items on Craig's List.  What a great guy, right?

Blake Shelton is enjoying putting duets together.  He also put together a duet partner list which I would say, varies quite a bit.  Blake cited pop singer Katy Perry as a favorite duet partner.  He recorded a duet for the Brad Paisley’s last album, and also recorded a song with Lionel Richie for the his upcoming duets album.

And while on the topic of Blake, might as well talk about what his wife is up to.  Miranda Lambert was among those in the audience unhappy with Chris Brown’s heavy presence on the Grammy's show this past Sunday.   Miranda tweeted, "Chris Brown twice? I don't get it.  He beat on a girl.  Not cool that we act like that didn't happen....He needs to listen to Gunpowder and Lead and be put back in his place."

Darius Rucker headlined the Medical University of South Carolina’s Children’s Hospital’s “Darius Rucker Big Band Show” this past Monday.  The event was held at the North Charleston Performing Arts center, in his hometown of Charleston, SC.  Rucker performed 90 minutes of Frank Sinatra songs and was able to raise was $260,000 for the MUSC Childrens Hospital.  Great job, Darius!
