Cowboy And Shadow On Pet Connection

Like always, Pet Connection is brought to you by Dr. Becker and staff at The Animal Hospital in Guilderland. This week Steve has a pair of super-cute animals looking for homes. I'd like you to meet Shadow and Cowboy.

Shadow is one of the smartest cats you will ever meet.  She was once the only companion of my darling Barbara. She lived with a lady named Barbara in complete harmony together. She taught Shadow all about watching TV and bought her her own videos. Together, they watched the political talk shows and discussed world affairs. She would ride around our apartment with Shadow on her wheelchair and she did everything she could to make sure Shadow was healthy and happy. I miss her very much. You see, Shadow’s mom has late stage COPD. That means she has great difficulty breathing. It’s gotten so bad, she can’t keep her in the apartment anymore. She can barely care for herself.

She is neutered, of course, and up to date on all her shots. She had a little bout with bladder stones a while back, but is doing very well now.

Cowboy is a two-year-old black-and-white Chihuahua. He weighs about 5 pounds.  He’s been neutered/micro-chipped and has all his shots.

He is shy at first, but once he gets to know you, watch out…he will ambush you with love! He loves to play and run around, and when he does tire, he’ll snuggle right up to you.  He’s got big ears to hear you coming or calling his name.
