Little congratulations are in order for the Country Music Association.  They recently passed the one million mark of digital fans, followers and subscribers.  Over 1.2 million fans have connected with them via Facebook, Twitter and Youtube as well as through mobile and “CMA Exclusive” email.  The milestone has surpassed all competing award show organizations, including the Grammy Awards, Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmys.

Today is “Free to Tweet Day!”  Blake Shelton, Brad PaisleyJoe NicholsWynonna are participating in the campaign.  It’s a daylong online celebration of our First Amendment rights.  All Americans are encouraged to tweet in support of our First Amendment rights to enjoy our freedom.  If you want to show your support, like our favorite country music artists, use hashtag, FreeToTweet.

Speaking of Twitter, Jason Aldean tweeted about his recording session on Monday.  He was in a Nashville studio with Ludacris.  He posted a picture of the session with the caption, “More history being made right now.”  The two performed together earlier this year on the Grammy Nominations Concert Live, by performing “Dirt Road Anthem” together.
