"Not Ready To Make Nice" earns Record and Song of the Year out of all formats, plus Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group.  The CD "Taking The Long Way" claims Album of the Year out of all formats and Best Country Album.

2006- Sugarland performs their first official concert as a duo at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, just weeks after the departure of Kristen Hall.  Kristen played guitar for the trio and co-wrote their first hits "Baby Girl" and "Something More."

Gene Vincent, 1935.  His rock & roll record "Be-Bop-A-Lula," one of the first singles recorded at the Bradley Recording Studio in Nashville, also reaches the top 5 on the country music charts in 1956.
