Bomb Threat At A Local Kmart
Kmart is in the news again, but this time it's not because the store is closing permanently.
The Kmart at Rotterdam Square Mall received a bomb threat, which caused an evacuation.
In the story from CBS 6 Albany, the front desk received a threatening call on Monday. The caller told the person at the desk that they would use an explosive device and also demanded some sort of payment.
A call was made to the Rotterdam Police Department. They notified the New York State Police K-9 Unit. After a search was made in the store, it was determined that it was all clear. There is still a investigation going on about this threat.
