Fans have been all ears for information regarding Blake Shelton's upcoming 10th studio album, and now there's some news: The Oak Ridge Boys will be featured on the new project.

Shelton revealed the exciting information on Monday (Feb. 1) via Twitter.

"Tonight was literally magic ... Thank you @oakridgeboys!!" the singer writes. "What an honor. So excited about my album!!!"

The Oak Ridge Boys are equally delighted about the collaboration. They shared several photos of their time with Shelton, including shots of William Lee Golden with Shelton, the band in the recording studio, working out harmony parts and more.

"A great and magical evening in studio ... Honored to be a part of Blake's album!" the band shares.

Previously, Shelton has said that this upcoming project will shed some light on his divorce from fellow country star Miranda Lambert. Though their split was certainly a low point in both Lambert and Shelton's personal lives, the "Boys 'Round Here" hitmaker says that it's inspired him to write.

“I’ve written more than I’ve written in 15 years, for obvious reasons — all the awful things that have happened in my personal life — but the way the year ended is also the greatest of my life," Shelton explains. "... I’m doing what I’m supposed to do, and that’s put all I’ve gone through and put it into music, and I never felt more connected to a record before. When people hear this record, they may not know what happened to me, but they’re gonna know how I felt about it. And that’s exciting for me, to just lay it out there for people.”

Even while he's working on new music, Shelton's still gaining fans through his already released tunes. He celebrated his 21st No. 1 hit with "Gonna" at the end of 2015 and will kick off a tour in Cincinnati, Ohio, this spring. He's also slated to perform at Country Jam 2016 in June.
