Blake And Miranda Set A Date!

Many have wondered since they got engaged, when will Blake Shelton And Miranda Lambert tie the knot. Well wonder no more as Miranda has announced that the wedding will take place in just about 10 weeks on May 14th.

Miranda recently had an interview with Cowboys and Indians Magazine and discussed life with Mr. Shelton among other things. Including the fact that Blake is old fashioned and actually asked Miranda's Dad for her hand in Marriage:

They sat down together and had a conversation. I don’t know how it went, though I presume it went well. But that was really important to me. That goes back to my roots, I guess. I think every man should ask the girl’s dad for her hand.

So very soon we will have another power couple in country music who will tie the knot much like Tim and Faith and Garth and Trisha.

In other Blake Shelton news, it has been just announced that he will join Cee-lo Green, Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera as one of the judges for the new singing competition series The Voice which premieres on NBC April 26.
