iPhone X: Apple’s Latest $1000 Rip-off

I'm not an Apple product hater.  I actually really like their stuff, but at some point you have to say enough is enough.  I remember buying my first cell phone over 20 years ago.  I have no idea how much I paid for it, but whatever it was, I felt like it was worth it.  It was technology that I felt like I couldn't live without.  Yesterday,  Apple unveiled details about their new iPhone X (as in 10, not the letter) that will be available in October for pre-purchase.  It's a $1000 cell phone that zero people actually need, but many will buy.

Loser Hurricane Looters Shamed On Twitter (PICS AND VIDEO)

Looters are the some of the lowest of the low; preying on their vicitms during a time of crisis.  When I saw videos of people looting during Hurricane Irma, it made my blood boil.  When many were arrested, and then put on full blast by the Ft. Lauderdale police, I couldn't have been happier.  Let's prosecute these losers to the fullest extent of the law.

Former News Channel 13 anchor Jessica Layton was reporting on Hurricane Irma over the weekend and a man appeared in her video for literally a split second, but as we know, the internet catches everything!  Layton, the consummate professional, was doing a "live shot" about Floridians evacuating in anticipation of Hurricane Irma, when this happened…

Area’s Bravest Are Florida Bound For Irma Relief

To the many brave men and women leaving their families behind to assist in Hurricane Irma relief, THANK YOU!  This storm is a behemoth and the more I obsessively watch and track it, the more anxious I become. These fine men and women may are your neighbors and or family members, and their risking their safety for complete strangers.  There is nothing more noble.

Millions of "popaholics" have united for years over the gruesome yet oddly satisfying feeling of watching reknowned dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee, aka Dr. Pimple Popper, tweeze, drain, and pop pimples, blackheads and cysts.  Lee's latest YouTube video; an enormous grapefruit sized growth is being offered up for .99 cents with partial proceeds going to two charities helping Houston recover, the American Red Cross and the St. Bernard Project.

Armpit Of America: Pumpkin Spiced Deodorant Is Here

The all-natural deodorant brand Native has just announced a new pumpkin spice latte scent.  Why?  Because people will buy it.  Can we seriously stop with all the pumpkin spice things! It's too soon and it's just not necessary.   I'll admit, I'm a wee bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to Fall.  I don't take selfies in a pumpkin patch, I don't like getting dressed up for Halloween and I've never waited in line for apple cider donuts. Clearly, I'm in the minority.

Creepy Clown Season Is Baaaack!

A year ago, Halloween, creepy clowns were popping up all over the Capital Region. While that's died down, Stephen King's "It" hits theaters on September 8th and audiences who have seen it already have been flat out terrified! Clowns are a really weird thing to me.  I'm not afraid of them but I'm paralyzed by them just enough to wonder if I should be afraid. Does anybody actually LIKE clowns??
