Last week, the North Colonie Schools went into lockdown, and today, another school did.

This time it was in Columbia CountyGermantown Central School District.

In the story from WNYT, the lockdown was initiated after there was an unknown 9-1-1 call received without any voice message. Susan Brown, the superintendent, said that the call was made from inside the school.

The students remained in their classrooms while authorities inspected the building. Nothing regarding an emergency was found. The old saying is very true - "It's better to be safe than sorry".
