Hope Litchfield, who has been in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, has been arrested again on Sept. 26. This time, it’s for animal cruelty.

Litchfield left her apartment and allegedly left four cats for dead.

The story was on News 10 ABC, where you can also see pictures of the cats.

Another woman stopped by Litchfield’s apartment and mentioned about how “it smelled and looked like a slum.” The kittens were reported as very sick. They are on the mend now, and two of them have been adopted and are in loving homes. The other two are still in need of a home.

If you know someone that would like to adopt the kittens, you’re urged to contact the Regional Animal Shelter by calling 518-725-5956. Hopefully by the time you read this article, the kittens will have been adopted.
