American Idol Concert Postponed to September

Hurricane Irene has caused another concert to be postponed.  Earlier we learned that Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown moved their Foxboro, Mass. show from Sunday (8/28) to Friday (8/26), now The American Idol Live Tour will be postponed.

The official Times Union Facebook page announced that "American Idols Live" with Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, originally scheduled for this Sunday, has been rescheduled for precautionary reasons, in anticipation of the weather resulting from Hurricane Irene. The new date of the show is Sunday, September 4. Tickets that have already been purchased will be honored on the new date.
