State Police Ask for Help

A young man, last seen back on February 29th,  has been missing for a month now, and State Police in New York hope the public can help with any information regarding his whereabouts.

According to the New York State Police, Adam Ishak, age 20, was last seen on February 29, 2024, when he left his home in Wharton, NJ, and boarded a bus from New York City that was headed to Saranac Lake.

Told His Mom "Not to Worry"

Ishak, who according to the missing person's report, doesn't drive, left for the Adirondacks a month ago via bus after leaving his mother a note saying that he was "going to the airport and not to worry."

Headed to Lake Placid?

State Police say that Ishak was last seen wearing a blue ski jacket, and according to the young man's mother, has Autism Spectrum Disorder, but his condition is undiagnosed.

Originally, it was believed that Ishak was heading north to Saranac Lake, but State Police don't believe he made it that far.  Instead, they think he got off the bus at the Keene Valley stop located on Route 73 and Market Street and from there could be headed to Lake Placid.
