Vigils to Be Held Tonight in Albany and Schenectady for Orlando Victims
People all across the country are banding together to lend support and mourn those lost in the recent Orlando shooting, and the Capital Region is no exception.
In the Capital Region, local businesses and residents are showing an outpouring of support for the Orlando victims. Last night, ROCKS club in Colonie held a candlelight vigil in front of the club in support of Pulse Orlando. This weekend, ROCKS also plans to hold 'A Night of Healing & Unity' to benefit those lost early Sunday morning.
Tonight at 6 p.m. in Albany, you can show your support for the Orlando victims at West Capitol Park, were a candlelight vigil will take place. A vigil will also take place in Schenectady this evening at 6 p.m. in front of City Hall.
Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this trying time.
