We have seen a couple of New York State Thruway rest areas reopen but that may be all for a while. It looks as if the project to revamp and rebuild the twenty-seven Thruway rest areas is significantly delayed.

Weather forecasts are predicting that we're going to be getting up to 12 inches overnight. That means that a lot of schools and workplaces will be closed or at the very least, delayed. We'll keep you updated as we can with the various closings as they are announced.

Originally, after many renovations, the Troy pool was supposed to open on July 1st for the summer. But now there is a delay.
