A new documentary shines a light on the untold struggles of U.S. dairy farmers, from rising costs and corporate pressures to the daily challenges of keeping their farms alive.

Millions of dollars are available for the thousands of dairy farmers across New York State.

The Northeast Dairy Farm Beautification Program recognizes certain dairy farms in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Vermont, and New York that excel in the industry. There were a few that were honored in Upstate New York

In an effort to give to those in need during the pandemic, New York dairy farmers will be supplying local food banks. This will also help distribute their excess product.

We as citizens need to be prepared for the rain and wind event that we will be experiencing late tonight and tomorrow morning from Sandy. Batteries, water, non-perishable food items are a good place to start in case you lose power. Farmers though have a unique set of circumstances that they have to prepare for.
