April 15, 2013 was the beginning of a tough week in America! From the Boston Bombings, ricin laced letters sent to the president, the controversial gun control battle, and the Texas Explosion, it's been quite an emotional week.

Late Thursday afternoon (4/18) the FBI held a press conference regarding the bombings at the Boston Marathon which occurred in Boston on Monday. Here is the latest information that the FBI released to the media regarding this act of terror.

UPDATE: 3:56: This will be the last update of this article this afternoon. There is a press conference with the FBI at 5P, after which we'll publish a new article recapping the details. What we do know as fact is that the FBI and has made "significant progress" in this investigation. As the nation continues to mourn the loss of the victims in the Boston bombings and pray for the wounded survivors, flags are flying half-staff.

Heartbreaking. Just heartbreaking. It's sad when any human loses their life, but it is a different level of sadness when it's a child. The father of eight year old Martin Richard released this message which ABC News shared on their Facebook page:

A press conference was held Tuesday morning (4/16) which cleared up some confusion regarding earlier reports of there being other devices, and where the FBI is in their investigation. The City of Troy has it's share of problems and as a former resident of said city I can say that there is a reason I'm a former resident. There are those who however love Troy and that's their choice. No matter how you feel about Troy, nothing says we're embarrassed to be Troy like using a photo of a different city on your official website.
