The New York Giants are ready to hire their next head coach away from the reigning Superbowl Champs.

Bill Belichick is not making his return to East Rutherford, but this could be the next best thing. According to our sister station 104.5 The Team, the Giants announced this morning that Joe Judge will be the next head coach for big blue.

Judge is currently a special teams and wide receiver coach for the New England Patriots, and that is one of the reasons to be excited for this hire if you are a Giants fan. He has worked for one of the best football coaches of all time who is also known to be very demanding of those who work for him. If he can pass muster with the Hoodie, he should do just fine in New York. The Team report says Judge has also worked with Alabama head coach Nick Saban, another coaching legend, and has been a part of 2 Superbowl winning teams and 3 NCAA Championships over the years.

If you are Giants fan, there is a lot to be excited about for the team's future. They have one of the best running backs in the league in Saquon Barkley, and their rookie quarterback Daniel Jones looked really good this year. Let's hope Judge is the final piece in bringing the Giants back to Superbowl contention.
