After deactivating his Instagram profile last month, Morgan Wallen is back — and he's got big news to share.

The country star returned to the social media platform on Monday (July 15) with the announcement that he's headlining a bill at Knoxville, Tenn.'s Neyland Stadiumon on Sept. 22. Two of his closest collaborators and most frequent tourmates, Hardy and Ernest, are joining Wallen for that show.

Playing stadiums is old hat by now for Wallen, who has been routinely headlining them during his 2024 One Night at a Time Tour.

But Neyland Stadium is special: It's a hometown venue for Wallen, who hails from Sneedville, Tenn. — just an hour and a half northeast of Knoxville.

Wallen's East Tennessee pride is often on display in his lyrics, and he's a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers, the football team that calls Neyland Stadium home. When he announced his upcoming show, he explained that for him, this particular stadium is a bucket list venue.

"I've had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB and NFL stadiums the past two years, but getting to play my hometown at Neyland Stadium, nothing tops this for a boy from East Tennessee," he notes in a statement.

Wallen also shared a social media reel hyping fans up for the show, captioning the video, "I'm coming home."

Tickets for Wallen's Neyland Stadium show go on sale to the general public on Wednesday (July 17).

Wallen recently postponed a handful of One Night at a Time tour dates due to illness, but he's slated to continue the tour with several more domestic and international dates into October.
