After not appearing on shelves for 11 years, college football fans — including Jason Aldean — are excited for the return of NCAA College Football 25.

Aldean joined Taste of Country Mornings with Wood and Nicole and was asked if he would be picking up the newest installment of the game, and he was all-in.

Jason Aldean isn't the only Country Music Star that is excited as Luke Combs and Zach Bryan both have been on social media discussing the game.

NCAA Football has been off the market since the last installment in 2013 after class-action lawsuits over player likeness caused the creator of the game, EA Sports, to stop making the game.

Similar games such as Madden, pay player unions in order to use a player's name and likeness in the game, something that college players did not have, meaning the college football players were not being paid to have their likeness appear in the game.

Now that NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) rules have been established for college athletes, the door to remake the game was opened and college football players jumped at the chance to be in the game. Each of the 134 Division 1 teams are expected to have full 85 player rosters.

Each player is being paid $600 and gets a free copy of the game for appearing in it. But some of the higher profile players, such as Arch Manning — yes of the Manning Family —put out a specialized video announcing he would be in the game.

The game is officially release on Friday, July 19, but some editions have earlier download dates.

Wood is host of the 'Taste of Country Mornings with Wood and Nicole' that can be heard every morning from 6-10am CST on the 'Taste of Country' app, on local affiliates where available and online at tasteofcountry.com.
