If you receive child support in New York State, you could stop getting payments soon. As a parent who relies on child support, it is important that you take action to avoid any interruption in your payments

New York State Making Changes To Child Support Payments

Is your current address up to date with the New York State Child Support Program? If it's not, you'll need to update it as soon as possible to avoid any delays or issues with payments. The Bank of America debit cards will be replaced soon and new cards will be mailed out to you. The office issued a warning that you need to use all of the funds on your current card,

Continue to use your Bank of America debit card until the balance is $0. The balance cannot be transferred to the new card.

 

New Child Support Debit Cards Are Coming In New York

New child support debit cards will be mailed out by March 31, 2023. Here's the timeline for the old and new cards:

03/23/2023–03/30/2023 - New Way2Go Card® Prepaid Mastercard® mailed (Activate your card immediately)
03/30/2023 - Deposits to old card will stop
03/31/2023 - Deposits to the new Way2Go Card® Prepaid Mastercard® will start
