With another winter storm on the way, I have a feeling that the weather isn’t going to make some people very happy.

Steve Caporizzo from News 10 ABC has let us know that there is now a Winter Storm Warning in effect for the Albany area from Thursday at 10:00 a.m. through Friday at 10:00 a.m.

It seems like this has been a very cold winter and in some cases, a very snowy winter. The one issue that I’m running into, with more snow on the way, is where to put it when we’re clearing our walkways and driveways. Because of the last storm, there are still some pretty high snow banks, and now they’ll be even bigger.

One weird thing about this winter is some of the areas of the country that have been getting hit with snow and ice that don’t usually deal with it. Some of us chuckle a little at how it almost paralyzes those areas, but in all seriousness, it’s not at all funny. They don’t have the equipment needed to keep everyone safe. These are places like Florida, North and South Carolina and Georgia. In addition to the snow, a lot of those places have been getting ice, which has been turning roads and walkways into ice skating rinks. It's also been bringing power lines down. The Weather Channel, which is in Atlanta, has been reporting about power outages and even deaths because of this winter storm, which they named as Pax.

Maybe you can’t do anything about the weather, but you can take our poll about winter. It won’t change anything in the weather, but it might make you feel better.
