Miranda Lambert's emotional moment with a soldier's sign sent us on a search for some more of country music's best military tributes.

Artists are overwhelmingly supportive of the troops, with dozens of planned tributes every year. These five moments were spontaneous decisions to honor one particular soldier, or his family.

Lambert gets an honorable mention on this list, because Toby Keith has two tear-jerking military moments. Lee Brice and Sunny Sweeney also make this list, as does Brantley Gilbert for truly touching one man's heart. It's a moment you really have to see to believe.

There are only five featured here, but you'll find another at almost every country concert you go to. Big & Rich are another act that continually mention the troops. Theirs is also as honest as apple pie, and like Lambert, they also get an honorable mention.
