5 Chain Restaurants You’d Love To Come To Albany
Even with all the great dining options and stores we have here in the Capital Region, there are still a few more we would like to see open here.
When it comes to chain restaurants and stores, it feels like we have most of the great ones here in the Capital Region. But there are a select few where the thought of them opening a location here makes Upstate New Yorker's salivate. Heck, I start drooling at the mere thought of an accessible Chick'-Fil-A coming here! According to a GNA Facebook poll, here are the 5 top chain eateries YOU would love to see open here:

Chick-Fil-A
In our Facebook poll, Chick-Fil-A is by far the most wanted chain restaurant we want to come to the Capital Region. Having limited access to the one inside the Albany Airport is just not enough!

Steak and Shake
Even with all the great burger joints we have in the Capital Region, there are more out there. Steak and Shake is known for there great steak burgers, but the closest place to get them is in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Shake Shack
At #3 it's another chain we technically have in the Capital Region, but don't have full access to. Not to mention, the wait for food at the Shake Shake at Saratoga Race Course in the summer can be a long one.

In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out is another smaller burger chain with a great reputation. But ya gotta go to California, Texas of Utah to enjoy their delicious burgers.

Waffle House
The Waffle House is legendary in the south for breakfast and as a late night dining option after a night of drinking. Though they do have a few Pennsylvania locations. We would use another great breakfast chain like this here in the Capital Region!
