WGNA Countryfest 2011 Is Just 59 Days Away [VIDEO]

Trisha Yearwood, Josh Turner, Blake Shelton have been the stellar country music headliners at WGNA Countryfest during my time here at the radio station.

It has been amazing watching the growth of these stars up to the time we had them on the Countryfest stage at Altamont and since. This year we have the hottest star in country music today Miranda Lambert headlining the show on July 9th at the AltamontFairgrounds. I can’t wait to hear her pump up the crowd with “Gunpowder and Lead”, “White Liar”, and all of her other huge hits. Between the ACM and CMA awards over the last year she has racked up 8 huge awards including Female Vocalist of the Year at both shows. When you look at the whole show this year it may be the biggest one ever from start to finish. I thought I would take a run through the lineup and post some videos from each of the artists so you can see and hear the magnitude of the show this year. The best part of all is it’s just $35 now, $45 at the gate and tickets are easy to get on WGNA.com, and at any area Hannaford Supermarket.

Let’s start with the opener Joanna Smith from Colombia Records. Here’s her hit “Gettin Married”.

Then the deep whiskey voice of Warner Brothers recording artist Brett Eldredge with his heart wrenching hit “Raymond”.

Then the smoking hot new female artist that is taking Nashville and America by storm on Republic Nashville Records Sunny Sweeney. Here’s an awesome good ole’ country stomper from Sunny that I know will get the WGNA Countryfest 2011 crowd rocking for sure. It’s called “If I Could”.

Then the man with a ton of hits over the years and one of the best live performers in the business, Chris Cagle will hit the Countryfest stage. Here’s his hit “Laredo”.

One of the biggest songwriters in Nashville has become one of the best solo artists in the game today. Randy Houser who lost his tour bus in a fire earlier this year is doing great, has a new bus and a new album. Here’s the song that got Randy houser rolling, the powerful hit “Anything Goes”.

And then the Superstar headliner of WGNA Countryfest 2011 on July 9th at Altamont Fairgrounds, reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of The Year Miranda Lambert. I though we would rock out with Miranda and her video of the year winner “White Liar”, featuring Jamey Johnson as the preacher.
