It used to be that when someone had to travel away from the Albany area, they couldn’t listen to WGNA-FM, since it was only on the radio.

Our big 50 thousand watt signal gives us great coverage, but even our great signal only goes so far. People missed us when they went to other places beyond the reach of the radio signal. So after people said they wanted to take WGNA with them everywhere, we listened. Now you can because of technology. On “Cryin’, Lovin’ Or Leavin”, I’m getting more and more calls from people that are either in our area dedicating a song to someone in another state or vice versa.

Now here’s the proof:

I got a call from a woman in Rensselaerville (in southwest Albany County), and she dedicated the new Blake Shelton song, “Honey Bee” to her boyfriend who’s a truck driver that’s in North Carolina. Thanks to being able to listen live to WGNA from our website, or listening to WGNA on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch when you download our new free mobile app radioPup. You can listen to us everywhere.

Are you planning to take WGNA with you on vacation this year?  We would love to go with you.
