It's no secret that Thomas Rhett has been riding a wave of success lately, and this fact was driven home Friday night (Feb. 16) when he he gathered with friends and family in Nashville to celebrate his latest chart-toppers “Craving You” and “Unforgettable.”

The songs mark his eighth and ninth career No. 1s—but, if that weren't enough, Rhett was also surprised with a special plaque to commemorate his latest album Life Changes, which achieved gold certification for achieving 500,000 units sold less than six months after its release.

Life Changes is Rhett's third full-length release, and it had the distinction of debuting on the No. 1 spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, marking the first country release to take the top spot in 2017. The release also drew a 2018 Grammy nomination for Best Country Album, and has been streamed more than 400 million times.

While Rhett's career is well in hand and keeping him busy winning awards, he's also been happily engaged on the home front. He and his wife Lauren welcomed their adopted daughter Willa Gray in May of last year, and Lauren gave birth to Ada James several months later in August. Both parents have been keeping fans up to date on the girls' progress via social media, sharing lots of cute snaps of milestones, holidays, and fun family outings.
