The Dumb, Idiotic Things People Do During Hurricanes

First of all, I hope you are hunkered down, and all your hatches are battened during this hurricane-turned-tropical whatever they want to call it.  It doesn't really matter what you call it anymore.  It's still pretty darn serious, and you don't want to do stupid things just to prove that you're super brave or super macho or superman (or woman).  And please, Lord, don't do what these people have done!

I was looking for a little comic relief here just to keep your spirits up during today.  I found a website called AOM- Akron Ohio Moms.  They have here the top 10 stupid things people have done.  It seems to be updated to include something that some numbskull did during this present hurricane.  I don't know where they got these shots from, but they are very very funny (and a bit scary).

So again, folks, please use your "noggin" and don't do things that will get you into trouble, or more

importantly get you featured on a website like this.  Things are bad enough out there without daredevil drivers trying to purposely take to the highway for the excitement of it all.  It proves nothing.  All it does is put your lives in danger and possibly someone else's-especially if you are on the roads.  There are many "states of emergency" right now in different counties.  If you are told to be off the roads, there's usually a pretty darn good reason.

Be safe and sane during these trying times against mother nature!
