December 15, 2011 There are some people called the Park Conservancy Group that wants the city to turn off and take down the holiday lights in Albany’s Washington Park.
Albany's “lights in the park” begins today. This is the 15th annual Hannaford Capital Holiday Lights in Washington Park.
In case you haven't heard already, this year's Tulip Festival in Albany's Washington Park is going to be much different than previous years -- all thanks to some out of control college students who decided to pretend they were Irish on Albany's St. Patty's, parade day.
April 13, 2011 The 63rd Albany Tulip Festival will take place on Mother’s Day Weekend, May 7 and 8, in Albany’s Washington Park. Of course you'll see thousands tulips, enjoy plenty of entertainment, great food and activities for the kids. There will also be the other traditions like the Tulip Queen Coronation and Mother of the Year award. There are going to be some big changes for alcohol restrictions.
