The last time I had a dose of Lauren Alaina like this, she was on American Idol. I almost forgot the amount of spunk and energy this girl has!

When you're alone in a room with Kip Moore, what do you do? I picked his brain for what should've been 60 seconds, but lets face it, it's Kip Moore! I was living the dream that many ladies would sell their souls for, so I took advantage and got the goods out of Kip and Country In 60: Celebrity Edition went from 60 seconds to well, a little longer than that.

She was hard to miss even though she can't be more than 4 feet tall. Every song, every artist she was on her feet dancing the entire Secret Star Acoustic Jam (Presented by Adirondack Tire and Service) last night at Proctors Theatre. Her name is Caeley and believe it or not, this was her first concert.

Kentucky born, Kentucky raised! Country new-comer, Carly Pearce is a forced to be reckoned with. I mean, let me ask you this: what were you doing at 16-years old? Because Carly? She was performing at Dollywood six times a day, five times a week. Me at 16? It includes working at Burger King and not having my license yet. Don't judge!

Imagine growing up locally during the Great Depression; segregation; when the Capital Region was mainly farmland and 5 & 10 stores. My Nana, who turns 85 officially on May 10th has lived here almost her entire life. Growing up, meeting her husband, raising a family of 4-children and so on, it all happened here.

How do you surprise someone that is the front person for your entire family? She knows everything that's going on! Even the stuff you probably don't want her to know. She is Nana.

The 100-year old Wellington Hotel had sat vacant in downtown Albany for years and in order to get rid of an eye sore and also utilize the space it held in a more useful manner, it had to go. So, in August of 2014, the city of Albany got rid of it. They didn't just get rid of it though, they did it with some pizzazz!
