June 14, 2011 This is so amazing. I just having this conversation at home. I have a new nickname for our kids' generation . They are ATM gen kids. And I'm not sure I can blame them!

June 6, 2011 Everyone is talking these days about tax cuts. One side wants to cut social spending like medicaid and welfare, the other wants to cut the budget to the military. The only thing I know for sure is we as taxpayers have been screaming for them to do this for years. Yes they just cant agree on what they think , WE want them to cut.

April 5, 2011 There are certain banks and credit unions that allow you to put a photo of your choice on your credit card, right? You 've seen them. Mine has a picture of a lake on it. Maybe it's trying to tell me that I'm financially under water, but at least it's something "perty" to look at. Now on the flipside of that, check this out.
April 1, 2011 This is a follow-up to my last blog about the poor NYS Lottery loser. I took the stance that I feel sorry for the poor gentleman who decided not to buy a lottery ticket and therefore lost out on his cut of $319,000,000. Actually, after seeing this story on YouTube, I might actually feel sorry for some of the winners!
March 28, 2011 Scouting was a part of my growing up, and, although I'm sure I resisted going to all of the meetings, I ended up enjoying learning how to do important things like CPR and tying knots (I still remember how to make a sheepshank---anybody?).
