Joe Nichols walked over to me at Taste of Country Music Festival on Saturday when it was blazing hot inside the lodge at Hunter Mountain. In his black t-shirt, with sweat on his brow he sat down and smiled. That's when I realized he's about three of me and quite possibly solid muscle.

This weekend was a hot one, but it was hot for much different reasons at Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill restaurant in Albany on Saturday evening.

This week has been an interesting one for the Country music world. A lot has been happening. Becoming a daddy announcements, getting stuck in elevators, touring announcements with a former One Direction-er. There's a lot to chat about!

A mother of a sophomore student at Shenendehowa High School stated to TWC news that if it were Hillary or Obama in the high school art project she would feel just as upset.

With temperatures soaring into the 90's by Sunday, it seems like Summer may officially be here before the actual "official" date. Personally, I'm so ready for it! I don't know about you, but growing up thunder and lightning scared the crap out of me. Like most kids, the loud sounds were enough to send me to the closest windowless room with as many of my stuffed prized possessions as possible (by the way, it was typically about 12 stuffed animals, my cat and the radio shoved in the upstairs bathroom until the storm was over.)

I love the tin man as much as the next gal. Miranda Lambert's song, "Tin Man" is superb. Neither of these things mean that you're going to find me out and about on a random night in June driving around dressed as him.

As Bob Dylan once sang, "the times they are a changin'" and they most certainly are. As we hit the halfway point of 2017, Stewart's Shops has made the announcement that they will be installing 100 charging stations for electric vehicles.

July 8th can't get here quick enough! A beautiful sunny day, filled with friends, country music and fun entertainment - it's a perfect combination! It's going to be so much fun and I can't wait to spend it with you guys! We have a great lineup that's bound to give any country fan exactly what they're looking for so it'll be exciting to finally get to that day on our calendars.

When you've been in the business this long you feel like you've probably seen just about everything. I mean, I've done everything from the normal on-air broadcast to broadcasting live from a Subaru; I've had broadcasts where the only working microphone was the one in the laptop, I've had to record on-air breaks on my cell phone as a voice memo in the middle of a lightening storm and the list goes

I remember hearing or seeing a news story at some point in my past of a person becoming suddenly ill behind the wheel of their vehicle while driving on the Northway and the amazing way they got themselves to safety. It freaked me out.
