The official start of "hurricane season" season begins June 1st and goes through November. If you think the giant storms are becoming more frequent, well, they are. And according to Tuesday's release by NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, they expect the trend to continue in 2022.

This is a terrific story.  Another piece of "good news".  There's a very very happy group of people right now.  One of them is Darlene Riccio

Gary Allan's new single,, 'Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain),' is a song of hope and inspiration to anyone staring at trouble or tragedy. The singer says that when he watched news reports of what Hurricane Sandy victims were going through, he knew the song could be part of the rebuilding effort. With a tie-in to the Red Cross, the new music video does just that.

It will be a very long time before victims of Hurricane Sandy get their lives back.  You'd have to shower some of these folks with money to bring them back to where they were before this horrific natural disaster.  There's only one man to do that -and  he's very fat with a white beard

I can hardly contain myself this morning.  This is exciting stuff, and for such a worthy cause too .  This at this writing is a work in progress.  Let's call this "Wind and Water, Part 1" .

Carrie Underwood has such a huge and generous heart. The singer performed at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. on Friday (Nov. 10) and announced that she would be donating all profits and proceeds from the evening's show to victims of Hurricane Sandy.

I didn't go to Tom's River, New Jersey for the sole purpose of viewing hurricane damage.  It was for a family matter.  But while I was there, I thought I'd snap a few shots of my in-laws' neighborhood just to give you a little sample of what's going on.

These poor, poor people down there in the city,  the Jersey shore, and my old stomping ground, Long Island.  Some are STILL out of power, and there's another storm coming.  We're asking you again to dig into your pockets and help out tomorrow.
