As this holiday weekend comes to a close I got to thinking about all the grilling that was done in our area. I know we have been grilling like it's our job at my house. With all that grilling going on , you can only imagine that there also has to be quite a bit of BBQ fails out there as well. Maybe it's as benign as the food coming out under or over cooked, maybe it's running out of propane half way through cooking, maybe it's a small grease fire, I know all of these have happened to me in the past.
It's NATIONAL BEER DAY! There are so many reasons to set aside a day on the calender to stop , reflect and celebrate a great person or cause but I dare say not too many of them as great as celebrating the gift of beer.
Here is one of those videos I just saw someone post on Facebook that I have never seen before but many people have, over 5 and a half million actually. Not too bad for a video that was posted just a few months ago. The video is of a comedian named Lauren O'Brien doing impersonations and pretty good ones if I do say so myself.
I know I am excited about Saturday Night Live this week. I think Blake Shelton is a naturally funny dude, and I know he will do whatever it takes to get a laugh. I don't know if he will live up to Justin Timberlake but I do know that one of the great things about both Justin and Blake is that neither of them take themselves too seriously, and THAT usually means funny.
You may have seen this video making the rounds, it's worth a look. I can't say it's a hit song for the radio but it sure does hit me right where I live.. in the kitchen! Sadly I think all to many of us feel this same way and for a great many different reasons, alas "youth is wasted on the young."
So I found this hysterical thread on Reddit asking Doctors to talk about something they had to explain to a patient that they thought was common knowledge. now trust me I am seldom surprised at just how dumb some members of the general public can be, but when you see these things written out, it's ind of scary.
Here it is, the third in our series of "most annoying people at work," and let's be honest here, there are plenty more "annoying" types that have yet to be represented in further episodes. I would love if you have an idea for one of these videos to let me know, just leave it in the comments section!
We all have to deal with them, the annoying people at work. Heck, even if you work from home you probably have to deal with the cat, dog or a neighborhood kid, there is always someone, or something that always gets on your nerves.
I have seen these things before, I think I have even seen them with "Game of Thrones" but for some reason this one just stands out as funny. A company called, io0.com produced a video of the opening credits of "Game of Thrones" but made it look and sound VERY much like an 80's sitcom. Like I said, I've seen these before but this one is just believable enough to make you want to watch it if the show were really like this!
(Warning- this is not for kids) --I'm not sure if you ever heard this song before. Personally, I haven't until now. It's pretty warped and dark humor (again, fair warning for the children out there), but would love your opinion as to how effective you think it would be as a tool to prevent accidents.
Have you heard of this "Throwback Thursday"? I guess it was started on Twitter I believe and has since moved onto Facebook as well. It's a simple Idea really, people put up old pictures of themselves and label l them "Throwback Thursday" and use the hash tag, #TBT.
I saw this this morning on the Facebooks and just had to share it on my page. I know however that some of you are not "friends" with me on the Facebooks, which is also a bit tragic. You should friend me right now!
