Yesterday, Saratoga native Patrick Pipino wrote a note to his daughter's school asking them to forgive her for being a little late. While we have all written an excuse note or two for our kids Patrick's was a little different and perhaps a bit more honest.
Like most Facebook trends I have to see it at least 10 to 20 times before I even consider giving it a shot, this was no exception. I kept seeing people posting, "Ask your kid these questions and post the answers for everyone to read". Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you said, "I wish we had that on video", but the moment was gone forever? Well lucky for all of us when this Mother and Daughter said those words they realized that yes... indeed they DID have it on video. I do however think this grown up Father and Husband wishes there wasn't a camera anywhere near this man vs. spider encounter.

Kids today are feel so entitled, kids today are so greedy, kids today don't appreciate their parents these are thing we hear everyday and unfortunately in many cases it's true. What we all have to remember is that it is not always true and the world is full of wonderful kids who are selfless and bright and loving, if you need a reminder of that as we all sometimes do you will love this video.
