October 11, 2012 It’s finally Fall, my favorite season! There is so much to do! I put together a list of my favorite Fall activities that I think everyone needs to take advantage of! These are family friendly and fun for kids of all ages!

October 5, 2012 Veterans Day is a federal holiday where we take pause to recognize and remember the sacrifices made by those who have fought for our great nation and those who continue to do so. Not to be confused with Memorial Day, which is to specifically recognize those who have passed away. Veterans Day also marks the official end to World War I. November 14, 2011 Tis the season to be moody...Fall! It's beautiful and everything, but think about it. Why are these leaves so pretty? Because they are dying and falling all over the place! Kind of ironic, isn't it? We're supposed to be admiring them right now, and I'm cursing them! So I wrote a little song to vent my frustrations. Hope it helps you too!
November 10, 2011 The Taste of Home Cooking School is coming up on us fast and in anticipation we're trying out some recipes leading up to Thanksgiving. A favorite dish with my family is the stuffing and this year instead of relying on the stuff out of the box I'm going to give the homemade version a go.

Early today my daughter Ella and I were being bums so I decided to get moving and Goold Orchard seemed like the perfect place to go. When I asked Ella "Do you want to go apple picking?" I was met with "NOW?!" and a rush of wind as she got ready.
October 4, 2011 It didn't really feel like fall until the first day of October.The weather seemed to immediately change. Last week, it was 80 degrees and muggy. This week, we're waking up to 40 degree days, with a some wind. So this brought to mind some things to do as we really move into the autumn season.
