WE Fest 2016 was one for the record books! Tim McGraw, Eric Church and Kid Rock headlined the three-night festival, and a slew of supporting acts helped make it the best one yet.
Eric Church paid tribute to Merle Haggard during separate shows on Saturday and Sunday. The "Record Year" singer bypassed his own songs for a stirring three-song medley at the Grand Ole Opry before heading west for a popular country music fest.
There was a great moment during Wednesday night's Life & Songs of Kris Kristofferson show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville that found Hank Williams Jr. and Kristofferson enthusiastically hugging one another after the younger artist had just finished singing "If You Don't Like Hank Williams," a Kristofferson-penned song from his Habits Old and New album from 1980.
Eric Church is well-known for his passionate ongoing battle against ticket scalpers, and the country superstar is once again taking unusual measures to combat scalpers at an upcoming run of shows at Red Rocks.
Eric Church may not be going on a cross-country tour this summer, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to see his live show. The superstar will be playing at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado this August.
