Is bro-country out? Is dirt-country in? Yes, dirt has been a theme in country music for a while, "Dirt Road Anthem," "Red Dirt Road," "Dust on the Bottle," "I'll Take the Dirt Road," "Mud on the Tires" and the list goes on and on. But it seems they're making a comeback...

Appropriately, the video for Eli Young Band's single 'Dust' features lots and lots of dust flying around -- as well as fast cars and a beautiful woman. The group just released the clip for their second single from '10,000 Towns.'

Even thought his bus ran off the road the last time he came to the Capital Region, David Nail is not afraid!  He's coming back! Last week, David Nail encountered a problem with our icy roads when he was on his way to open the show for Darius Rucker at the Times Union Center...

Kevin Richards and I had the privilege of spending the afternoon hanging out with The Eli Young Band in the studio!  We put the guys live on the air to get the Capital Region pumped up for their concert tonight with Darius Rucker and David Nail at the Times Union Center...

I want to say first that Kenny Chesney is one of the true gentlemen in country music. He makes sure his fans always get their money's worth. Last night he delivered again for the 1077 'GNA faithful. I got to spend some time with him before the show as well.

Even though they haven't opened Christmas presents or celebrated New Year's yet, the Eli Young Band guys already have big plans for 2013. Not only will the band set out to tour with Kenny Chesney next year, they also plan to make time for the studio.

The four members of Eli Young Band are helping get everyone in the Christmas spirit with the release of a new video of them singing a soulful, acoustic version of the holiday staple 'I'll Be Home for Christmas.'

These guys have been on a roll with back to back #1 hits. The Eli Young Band is catching fire and their fan base builds every day.

The Eli Young Band were just getting started when they played the Sean and Richie Show 10th anniversary appreciation concert 3 years ago. Now they are full blown stars in the country music world.
