It has been an institution in the Albany area for many, many decades. We took our son there meny times, and I have the old videos to prove it -(somewhere !!) I'm sure you do too. Everyone's pretty riled up about it, so I thought it needed a "battle cry".
Here is a story we talked about on the show today. It really isn't hard for me to imagine that these "parents" would not think this idea all the way out, and maybe think to themselves it is a perfectly good and safe idea. Some people just are not that bright. What is hard for me to believe is that they somehow thought that this would not be something other drivers would call 911 about. They were mistaken.
Last week there was a horrific house fire in Gloversville, N.Y. These stories are never good, fire is such a life destroying entity. Even after all the flames are extinguished there is so much that can never be recovered, or replaced. The best that you can hope for if this sort of tragedy ever befalls your family ids that everyone gets out safely.
Sometimes I have to be honest, I think what in the world has happened to society. The news is full of horrible stories about horrible people doing horrible things. That's why I just love a story about someone who cares about others and goes out of their way to help another person out. We had an amazing example of that today on the Sean and Richie Show.
