I have lived in the Albany area my whole life, and there have been plenty of changes. Even if you haven’t lived in the area for long, I’m sure you’ve seen a good amount of changes. As I was driving into Albany the other day, I started to think about one particular area.
The bridge that carries traffic from Route 5 to Route 5S in Rotterdam Junction was destroyed this past summer as a result of Tropical Storms Irene and Lee.
Within the last month or so the landscape has changed around the SUNY campus on Washington Avenue Extension and Fuller Road in Albany, with a new bridge connecting the two buildings of the Nanotech Complex. I did a blog about when they were closing the road to assemble it.
