The people at New Era are hysterical! After seeing the newest commercial starring Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski I almost peed a little. Check it out.
I never condone running on the field during a sporting event. It's just plain stupid. But every once in awhile it is rather amusing to see a drunken moron take a crack at it. It's even funnier when it's a Boston Red Sox fan getting taken down by a security guard like a Quarterback in an NFL game!
On today's "View From The Couch" We talked about the amazing hit streak that Los Angles Dodger Andre Ethier has been on, 28 games and counting.
Then I went on to put out a heart felt plea to find out where all the Boston Red Sox fans were. I am truly concerned about them and of course their mascot Wally.
Today I was all set to do a Couch about how bad the Knicks blew it and how exciting Nascar was this weekend BUT Steve Caporizzo ruined it! Part of my job is to get him on the phone for his weather. To be clear I love Steve! I don't know a better all around person EXCEPT for his blind devotion to the Boston Red Sox.
Thanks to Sean for showing me this. It's a New Era commercial that sums up "the rivalry". enjoy
That is fantastic! As much as I hate the Red Sox fans we always have fun punishing each other. The season just wouldn't be the same if we didn't have you...
Today starts the first series of Yankees and Red Sox for the 2011 season. The age old tradition of 2 of the games biggest franchises facing off. This year the Red Sox came into the season as favorites to win it all and so far have won NOTHING, ZIP, NADA. So you can expect a huge effort against the Yankees and abuse from me.
In today's View From The Couch I pay respect to all the Red Sox wins so far this season and show some love to the playoff bound New York Knicks.
I am well aware that at some point this season the Sox fans will get their revenge but I am going to enjoy myself in the mean time...
In a clear episode of child abuse this evil father makes his poor kid cry because he's the only one in the house with good taste. This is a Luke/Darth Vader moment. This little guy just wants to love the good guys but no! His dad is pushing him to the dark and winless side...
It always makes me laugh how the Red Sox fans run their mouths so hard before the season starts. Then they hit a bump in the road and POOF gone. For the last month or so my facebook page was littered with anti Yankee comments. so now that the Red Sux are 0-3 and the Yankees are 2-1 with about 600 homers already all the sox fans are among the missing.
