Starting this weekend you can order that mimosa or Bloody Mary with your Sunday brunch.

Yes, brunch just got a little more fun! Governor Cuomo signed the 'Brunch Bill' into law yesterday, paving the way for restaurants to serve alcohol starting at 10am. Up until this weekend, alcohol could not be served before Noon.

According to the Governor's office, bars and restaurants will also be able to obtain special permits to start serving at 8am for special events. The new law will also be great for craft breweries and wineries. simplifying fees and allowing liquor outlets to gift wrap purchases.

So when you order up those pancakes and eggs this Sunday, fire up a mimosa too! Mmm, mimosas...
