She is Sure It’s Not Going To Work, I Can’t Walk Away – Daily Dilemma

Here is Today's Daily Dilemma:

Ok, she is 32, I am 22. We met at work, though work is not a problem because it is a huge corporation and we are in different departments. We rarely see each other there.

We did however work on a "special project" at work about 6 months ago and that is where it all started. I was absolutely blown away by her, she is beautiful, confident and seemingly perfect for me in every way except for the age. She even has two children from a previous marriage and I think they are wonderful kids. All these things that I guess should be scary to a guy my age don't bother me at all. I just want to be with her.

I asked her out and we began dating, it was going well until a few weeks ago when she told me she feels love for me but it just isn't going to work. She said she has been thinking about it a long time, that she didn't expect things to get as serious as they have become and she is sorry. I am devastated.

The thing that is really amazing to me is how cold she has  become. It's like a light switch went off and she just doesn't want to see me. I just don't know what to do, is it possible that she really could have had such a change of heart, or is she being pressured by someone else? Maybe her family, I just don't know.

I guess my question is, is there anything I can do? She really seems to have made up her mind, but I can't help but want to fight for us.
