1993- Mercury Records releases Toby Keith’s debut album, featuring the hit ‘Should’ve Been A Cowboy.’

1938- Roy Rogers makes his debut as a leading man with the release of  “Under Western Stars.” Accompanied by Smiley Burnette and his horse, Trigger.  Prior to his success in the movies Roy performed with The Sons Of The Pioneers, before going solo in 1937.
