Randy Travis Suffers Stroke While Battling Heart Condition
We have some sad news to pass along about Randy Travis. As the 54 year old 'Three Wooden Crosses' singer is fighting for his life, we have learned that he's also suffered a stroke.
Earlier today (7/10/2013) Randy Travis' doctors issued a statement in regards to his cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure, and it appeared that things were looking up for the Country Music legend. Now, we are learning about a big set-back with the following official information from Webster PR:
Plano, TX (July 10, 2013) – As a complication of his congestive heart failure, Mr. Randy Travis has suffered a stroke and is currently undergoing surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. He is in critical condition. We will have updates as they become available. His family and friends here with him at the hospital request your prayers and support.

In the photo he looks happy and healthy, the same appearance he also had at the CMA Music Festival in June 2013. His recent appearances make all these bad health events seem unreal and shocking to fans who thought he was looking and sounding great bouncing back from a successful stint in rehab.
