Maren Morris – One To Watch – Check out ‘My Church’ [Video]

MAREN MORRIS is my newest personal obsession from Nashville.  I predict a long, successful career for her!  Especially if she continues putting out cool music like her new single, "My Church".

I think the song is cool and soulful and relatable.  I happen to like it better than a lot of the songs by female artists that Nashville has been pushing out lately.  And I feel we're at a pivotal time in country music where we need some serious female hits!

Morris has released the video to "My Church".  And even though the song's getting some airplay, she's feeling a little uncertain.

"No one can really prepare you for what happens with a song, but I have nothing but positive hopes for it.

 

"At the end of the day I'm proud that I wrote that song.  I have an emotional reaction to it every time I play it.  I'm excited for people to hear it, and hopefully love it too."
